The data from the 5 first stations are collected by SHOM and transmitted to PSMSL

Brest is equiped with a new acoustic station since 1993.

Marseille has just been equiped with such an acoustic station in june 1998.

The stations 138, 140 et 142 are maintained by the Université of Hawaii.

The four stations of the Indian Ocean ( ROSAME : Reseau d'Observation Subantarctique et Antarctique du Niveau de la Mer). They are equiped with pressure sensor (water level pressure, sea water temperature, atmospheric pressure). These stations are automatic and trasmit the data through ARGOS. The hourly data, after validation, are transmitted to the Hawaï Center.

-Station 23 (Kerguelen) is operational since April 1993.

-Station 21 (Crozet), in place since december 1994, has been operational from november 1995 to February 1997. It is on again since december 1998.

-Station 24 (Amsterdam-St Paul) is operational since October 1994

- Station 131 (Dumont d'Urville) was installed in january 1997. After a disconnection in June 1997, it worked again in January 1998 until April 1998. It is working again since february 1999.

The three last stations (96, 165 et 204) are problematic. A tide gauge might be installed in Fort de France by a pool of local agencies (in place of Robert -station 204). For Clipperton and Dzaouzi, no perspective.

Note that Brest and Marseille are equiped with permanent GPS since 1998. GPS campains GPS were done in Brest (86, 89, 93, 94, 97), Crozet (92, 94, 95), Dumont d'Urville (95), Kerguelen (92, 94, 95), Marseille (86, 88, 93, 94), Noumea (90, 91), Papeete (90, 91), Pointe des Galets (93). The following stations are now equipped with permanent stations GPS (G), and DORIS (D) : Brest (G), Dumont d'Urville (G, D), Kerguelen (G, D), Marseille (G), Nouméa (G, D), Papeete (G, D).
