A T.B.Winter stilling well gauge was installed in 1894 which ran until October 1958 when a Lea gauge was installed in the same well. An Ott gauge was installed on a new site in February 1974 and a Munro a month later. The Ott was replaced in June 1978. Since June 1984 data have been taken from a POL-designed potentiometer system attached to the stilling well.

TGI visited the site twice during 2013. 28.02.2013 to investigate a phone line fault and again on 16.05.2013 when the site was levelled and general maintenance carried out and the compressor changed.
