Heysham 1975 datum changed mid year no data entered. Prior to 1963 values are based on 8 readings a day. =========================== FOLLOWING PSMSL DOCUMENTATION ADDED 11-Aug-2009 For some time the gauge at Heysham has been prone to blocking by sedimentation it is thought due the dredging in the area. =========================== FOLLOWING PSMSL DOCUMENTATION ADDED 03-Jul-2014 During July and August 2013 channel 2 was fluctuating ~40-50mm high. General maintenance was carried out on 05.09.2013 =========================== FOLLOWING PSMSL DOCUMENTATION ADDED 07-May-2015 there were a number of problems with the gauge during 2014. During January and February readings were low over HWs. During March, June and July and again September to December readings from CH1 were approximately 30mm high probably due to dredging in the harbour. From July there were problems with the system blocking. At the end of the year readings were again recording high.
