Confirming their accuracy in relation to the existing national benchmark network. This process was carried out at Port Nolloth jetty resurveyed Mar.2008 new benchmark fitted mid 2009. the new benchmark is PN1 LLD +3.278m however SANHO are not completely happy with it and intend to resurvey it at some stage. =========================== FOLLOWING PSMSL DOCUMENTATION ADDED 27-Mar-2013 On the original RLR diagram there is a comment that for the period 1973-1993 there is an anomaly of .02m between the datum values supplied. On the original diagram rlrfac was given as 6.077m. When entered onto the database the value was given as 6.057m. This value has now been used. =========================== FOLLOWING PSMSL DOCUMENTATION ADDED 15-May-2018 Port Nolloth was uninstalled due to revamping of the quayside.
