Input to GLOSS Manual Update

25 Feb 2015

Work has started on a new Volume V of the GLOSS Manual on Sea Level. This new volume will focus on experiences and best practices for radar gauges. Philip Woodworth will serve as editor to the new volume, which has a draft table of contents.

As in volume IV, an annex will provides examples of practical experiences with radar gauges from operators and institutions in the GLOSS network. We would be interested in hearing about experiences with radar gauges used for both sea level and wave measurements. Please email Philip Woordworth with any any proposed experience contributions or relevant studies that should be referenced as soon as possible.

Final contributions should not be more than 8 pages single spaced including any photographs and figures. Please send any material by no later than 15 April 2015 to Philip Woodworth and cc in t.aarup@unesco.org.
