Asia-Pacific Space Geodynamic Sea Level Studies - A Status Report C. Shum, H. Tseng, OSU; C. Huang, D. Zheng, Shanghai Astronomical Observatory; B. Iz, Y, Chen, HKPU; W. Scherer, NTF; P. Woodworth, POL/Bidston; M. Anzenhofer, GFZ The recent activities in sea level research in the Asia Pacific regions relevant to the Asia-Pacific Space Geodynamics Project (APSG, Project Scientist, S. Ye) are reported in this paper. These preliminary results have also been conducted to follow the objectives stated by a report written by the APSG Sea Level Group (W. Scherer, C. Shum, and P. Woodworth, Chairs). Specifically, the papers address results from the the use of tide gauge and multiple mission radar altimeter data for the studies of last several decades of sea level variations in the Asia-Pacific region and the complementary role of the project to GLOSS and NEAR-GOOS projects in the region.
